Fellowship Duration

New York Fellows are required to select one (1) of the following cohorts. The fellowship lasts for a period of 6 months.

• January – June 2026

• July – December 2026

Financial Support

ACC will provide New York Fellowship grants amounting to USD 35,000 for a duration of six (6) months.

The following expenses will be automatically deducted from the aforementioned grant:

• USD 220 for the DS-2019 J-1 visa fees

• Between USD 150 and USD 200 for mandatory travel health insurance

• USD 185 for the visa processing application (DS-160)

Consequently, the amount disbursed to New York Fellows upon their arrival in New York may range from USD 15,580 to USD 16,630, which translates to approximately USD 2,596 to USD 2,772 per month over a six-month period.

Fellows have the option to receive an advance payment of USD 3,000 prior to their arrival in the United States to cover travel-related expenses.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age: Applicants must be at least 21 years old at the commencement of the fellowship.

• Experience: Candidates should possess a minimum of five years of experience in one of ACC’s designated fields.

• Citizenship: U.S. citizens and permanent residents are ineligible to apply.

• Enrolled Students: Individuals currently enrolled in educational programs cannot apply.

• Previous Participation: Former New York fellows are not permitted to reapply.
